TUTORIAL: LADY GAGA LEAD

CamelAudio Alchemy / SynapseAudio DUNE tutorial. A simple way how to create a "Lady Gaga - Just Dance" lead sound.

Its not a secret that this lead is not new in popular music but in Gaga's track it became a main element.

OK, so let's start!

1) Make a simple melody (for example something of the sort Lady Gaga - Just Dance)

2) Enable an oscillator in your synthesizer and set SQUARE waveform in it.

3) Set the LFO1 to the knob "Fine" ("Tune-Fine") of the OSC and set modulation at 50%

4) Be sure that the "Trigger"("Reset") and the "Sync" options in the module "LFO1" are switched off and a shape for the LFO is set to "Sine". Than set the modulation rate to about 60-65Hz (for the "Rate" knob)

Done! Now you can play adding such effects as Chorus, Delay, Reverb and EQ to make your lead more wide and rich. Its a simple way to create a lead that will stand out among other sounds. This method is applicable to basses and pads as well and will make them more variable and unique.
